What Fabrics Did We Use?

Reader Comments (4)

This is a terrific idea for teachers who are always in need of economical and attractive ways to create letters for their classrooms. And you can use them over and over again if you use a study material like that waxed mexican cotton that I've gotten at Purl....what's it called?
I'm sharing this with my co-teachers tomorrow at our faculty meeting. Thanks!

I'm nervous about what magnet material will do to the sharpness of my pinking shears... My mom was always warning me NEVER to cut paper with her fabric scissors. Should I just use an old pair?

Theses are absolutely ADORABLE, btw!!

Dear Julie,
I would use a pair of pinking shears that you reserve for use on things other than fabric.

I just love these -- I can think of so many ways to use and give them. Can I just ask: the fabric for 'H' is mislabeled as Building Blocks by American Jane. Any idea what the fabric really is? I just love it. Many thanks again for the info AND inspiration. Jan
PS -- I always pick up old pinking shears at yard sales -- so many people seem to be getting rid of them.
