Your Babette is BEAUTIFUL! I'm making one also in Cotton Ease and am working on the last section. There are a couple of squares that I want to re-do which will entail unseaming some of it, but I feel it will be worth it to get the colors exactly how I want them -- they seem to be somewhat out of balance as they are now but that's an easy fix. Anyway, I love yours made of the Koigu and am wondering if your blanket turned out about the dimensions stated in the pattern or did it turn out somewhat larger as it appears in the pics. One of my issues with using the Koigu (other than the cost) is the finished blanket size using such a small yarn. I'm seriously considering making another Babette out of something else but really prefer to have a larger blanket than the 40" X 43" that the Koigu supposedly turns out.

Thanks!

BTW, I uploaded pics to your Babette Flicr group so thanks for setting that up as well. I'm new to Flickr and am still learning the ropes so I hope I did that properly.

Thanks again!

I'm seeing this for the first time via Cara Davis (http://www.januaryone.com). Your blanket makes me swoon! You are an absolute witch with color. I will be coming back to this blanket for inspiration and admiration again and again. Nice work!

WOW! That is gorgeous, your sense of color is wonderful. I am trying to resist the granny-pox and you are not making it any easier. :)

Okay, I have a crazy idea - I'm going to make a Babette blanket for my son with all of the different colors of all of his favorite sports teas. Some of them clash a little (blue & orange? black & green?) but I'm thinking that the Babette style would incorporate weird combinations and end up being fun for him. I won't be using expensive yarn, though.
