Style 2 blocks

To make the Style 2 blocks, I added a third ring of fabric around the outside.  I alternated between solid fabric and prints.  As you can see, the strips for Style 2 blocks are skinnier than the ones I used for the Style 1 blocks.  Here are a few:

I have twenty blocks in these two styles, which I think should be enough for the center of a medium size couch blanket type quilt. Each block is about 10 inches square.  Now I have to start laying them out to get a bigger picture of where this whole thing is going.

I love the fabrics and colors. I have been thinking about doing one of these quilts with tone-on-tone colors and then meander-quilting the entire thing. I think it looks great so far, and can't wait to see the final outcome! Em

So...is it done yet? I want to see how nice it came out....This inspired me to make the drunk love quilt from the book, just waiting for the book to get here:)

Is there a picture of this whole quilt put together? I'd love to see what it looks like before attempting it. The fabrics are so unusual for making a quilt.
Thanks!
