Love it! It reminds me of the dandelions when they turn white and fluffy, I love that image! Thanks for the tutorial!

These are absolutely adorable. So simple, but cute and sophisticated all at the same time. I love to embroider without lines to follow, these give me some great ideas and I have a great selection of Valdani pearl cotton threads also.
thanks!

These are beautiful, and I'm inspired to try the french knot flowers on a bustier that I've sewn. How would care for an item like that though? The cotton for the bustier has been prewashed and preshrunk - but what about the contrast color thread bleeding and/or shrikning in the wash? Just curious, and any hints are helpful! Thanks!

Thanks for the inspiration! I was desperate for a project for my mom's b'day, and I was able to do this quickly. I'm not on flickr yet but when I sign up I'll post there was well. Here's my results:

Having just perused your valentine card selection I was thinking that this would also lend itself to tasteful hearts for a Valentine's Day project! AND something to do during the Super Bowl tonite~ Susan R

Beautiful . . .

Why the embroidery after stuffed and not prior to ?

Traditionally that process in a hoop prevents the stuffing from getting mixed in witht he embroidery. . .

Just wondering how you prevented that?

Hi Justsewing,
You can do it either way for these pillows.
