Reminder: Launch Party for Liberty of London's New Lifestyle Collection!

Mark your calendars! Purl Soho is hosting the launch party for Liberty of London's new Lifestyle collection this Thursday from 6 to 7pm. We hope you'll join us in celebrating Liberty's first line of fabrics specially designed for crafting and patchwork. Made with all the love we expect from Liberty of London, the Lifestyle collection brings its own fresh pop with punchy florals, super cute feedsacks, and wild paisleys. Come get a sneak peak and a jump-start your stash!

The Party

When: Thursday, July 19th from 6 to 7pm

Where: Purl Soho, 459 Broome Street, New York City

We'll be toasting to the Lifestyle collection with an amazing cocktail mixed up by Heidi Johannsen Stewart, co-owner of the extraordinary tea atelier, Bellocq. Her special summery creation will combine Bellocq's refreshing herbal blend, Le Hammeau, with a light Prosecco. It's the perfect introduction to Bellocq, whose out-of-this-world teas we are now proud to carry at Purl Soho!

The Giveaways

Three lucky partygoers will each win a giant fabric bundle that includes all 55 Lifestyle fabrics! In addition, Liberty has generously provided goodies so everyone will have something to walk away with!

And if you can't join us. . .

Two lucky online readers will also receive a Lifestyle fabric bundle that includes all 55 fabrics! To enter, leave a comment on this post by 7pm EST on Thursday telling us what you would make with all of this beautiful fabric. Remember to leave a working email address on the comment form so we can contact you if you win (please be assured that your email address won't be public and we promise not to share it with anyone!)!

We hope to see you at the celebration this Thursday!

I so wish I could make it to the launch party! But no time to go sadly. What would I make with a lovely bundle of this Liberty fabric? I've been dreaming of a Liberty Hexagon quilt, so I guess that would be my choice! Thanks for the giveaway!

So excited about this fab new fabric line! Don't know if I would afford to even cut into it if I won. I'd probably just gaze at it...

Oh to live in NYC! I can think of a zillion things I'd make with these new fabrics- a quilt for my daughter's room, a new shirt for myself, a scarf for my mother, those great little hankies, a stuffed doll for my toddler who is obsessed with babies...endless possibilities. They're gorgeous.

Sorry I can't make the live celebration...but what a fabulous giveaway!

I'm thinking a simple, lovely patchwork quilt would showcase these beauties well!

Hi! If I were lucky enough to win all of this gorgeous fabric, I would use it to make my first quilt. I only got my sewing machine this year, and after some trial and error, I think I am adept enough to try my hand at quilting!

wonderful, this party will be amazing!!

I live in France (Paris) but I would like to enter for the online readers price.
What can I say, I loooooooooooove liberty, I jsute bought myself the latest nike sneakers from iberty of london collection!
With this beautiful gift, I would like to build a nice patchwork for a blanket that I knitted and I could use the rests to make for instance nice liberty bracelets with charms, or liberty little bags for my knitting or crochet projects!!!

Have fun at the launch party!!

Oh what I wouldn't give to be there for the party! I've had a folder of "Liberty ideas" I keep adding to for years. I'd honestly just look at them for a long time and then finally cut into them for a patchwork quilt.

That Liberty collection is very sweet. I'll be sure to get some when I visit next time.

This fabric is wonderful, i'd love to use it for my first finished quilt! I'm going to make a bow tie quilt in the fall, I think this fabric would look so good in it :)

Oh my, so beautiful. What a dreamy giveaway! Perhaps not the most original of ideas but I would so love to make a patchwork of hexagons. As the summer holidays start next week those small hand sewn hexes would be a great project to take along on the many park and beach trips...

If i won all of these beautiful fabrics i'd definitely make a colette skirt, and purse of some kind. If i had any left i'd start a quilt.
