Reminder: Launch Party for Liberty of London's New Lifestyle Collection!

Mark your calendars! Purl Soho is hosting the launch party for Liberty of London's new Lifestyle collection this Thursday from 6 to 7pm. We hope you'll join us in celebrating Liberty's first line of fabrics specially designed for crafting and patchwork. Made with all the love we expect from Liberty of London, the Lifestyle collection brings its own fresh pop with punchy florals, super cute feedsacks, and wild paisleys. Come get a sneak peak and a jump-start your stash!

The Party

When: Thursday, July 19th from 6 to 7pm

Where: Purl Soho, 459 Broome Street, New York City

We'll be toasting to the Lifestyle collection with an amazing cocktail mixed up by Heidi Johannsen Stewart, co-owner of the extraordinary tea atelier, Bellocq. Her special summery creation will combine Bellocq's refreshing herbal blend, Le Hammeau, with a light Prosecco. It's the perfect introduction to Bellocq, whose out-of-this-world teas we are now proud to carry at Purl Soho!

The Giveaways

Three lucky partygoers will each win a giant fabric bundle that includes all 55 Lifestyle fabrics! In addition, Liberty has generously provided goodies so everyone will have something to walk away with!

And if you can't join us. . .

Two lucky online readers will also receive a Lifestyle fabric bundle that includes all 55 fabrics! To enter, leave a comment on this post by 7pm EST on Thursday telling us what you would make with all of this beautiful fabric. Remember to leave a working email address on the comment form so we can contact you if you win (please be assured that your email address won't be public and we promise not to share it with anyone!)!

We hope to see you at the celebration this Thursday!

Oh my gosh. I want this whole line so so badly. I would for sure make a quilt for my bed. Hands down. And then I would handquilt it and adore it forever. :D

Ooh, these would make fabulous school clothes for my toddler. Gorgeous Liberty, but not so fine and delicate that I'd be afraid to send them out for some rough and tumble!

Wow, I sure wish I could attend the party! But since I can't... I'll just enter the giveaway :-) I'd love to make a quilt out of these fabrics. Or a few bags. or scrappy dresses for my daughters. They are gorgeous!

55 gorgeous fabrics? I will make so many wall hangings, mini quilts, gift cards, project bags. And maybe some cushions, too.

Ohhh my, how many quilts could I make with all that delicious Liberty fabric? As well as quilts I would love to make purses and bags, especially so I can share that beautiful fabric with friends and family.
Thank you Purl Soho and Liberty for the chance to win.
Have fun on Thursday evening and have a cup of tea for me!

Wow, this collection is so beautiful.... I would absolutely love to visit your amazing store but unfortunately I live in Sydney, Australia. I have a project in my head that I would love to complete for my 9 month old daughter, Florence. A silhouette patchwork appliquéd onto raw linen and stretched onto a canvas for her bedroom wall. Liberty is my absolute favorite and harks back to my own childhood and my mothers sewing. Liberty in Regent Street was also my own haven as a broke young woman trying to live the dream in London some time ago! Just gorgeous!

What would I do with all 55 of those beautiful fabrics? Lots of things! Cute little bags, patch work pants for my little boy, and a quilt. Very exciting!

Being the first to comment is not such a lucky thing...but I can't not try. If I won that beautiful bundle of fabric I would make a quilt, not for the bedroom but for the living room, where it could be touched and looked at every day.

These fabrics look beautiful! I think I would make a quilt for my niece who will arrive this fall. Maybe even a little dress for her, too!

I love Liberty prints! My head is swimming with all the possibilities. A new quilt for my bed? A ruffled top for the cutest baby I know? New slippers? Cloth diapers? Can't wait for these fabrics to be available!

I just got engaged a month ago, but more than a month ago, I have been dreaming dreaming of the one big craft I have always wanted to make for my wedding. I want to make napkins out of Liberty fabric for our guests. I love the fabrics and this new line is just gorgeous! The colors pop and I want to design my entire wedding around the beautiful fabric from Liberty. Wish I could be at the Launch Party!!!
