I just made the small version in about an hour, thanks to your great illustrations!! Because I was just using what I had on hand, I used fat quarters for the fabrics and made the squares 9" and 4-1/2 respectively. I made a few other adjustments, too - put the pocket on the outside lining side out (folded down just like the top) and put a coordinating ribbon across the front fold, above the pocket. I loved the little handles you showed, but I ended up making handles from the scraps of the main fabric (so I didn't have to make a trip to the craft store). ANYWAY - It turned out ADORABLE and I can't thank you enough for putting the pattern online! It is perfect for my little friend (3yrs) - she will love her "girl bag" :)
