Embroider the Feet

rabbit32.jpg

To embroider the feet, bring the needle up from the bottom of the foot, draw it through the top, and backstitch the bottom stitch before continuing to the second stitch.

At the top of the toe, repeat the back stitch as a long stitch. Bring the needle up 1/8-inch away from the first line of stitches to begin the second line.  Repeat for the third line.

Beautiful, and so simple and old-fashioned looking. This is just the kind of doll I have been wanting to make. Thank you for offering these patterns.

Thanks for the lovely pattern!
I made it 50% smaller and used felt instead of fabric and had to change a couple of minor things, but I'm pretty happy with the way it came out, I'm sending the bunny to a friend of mine who just had a baby.

Take a look:

I'm loving this website! I was linked here from Rocks in my Dryer the other day and have found so many great patterns. Thanks so much!

The pattern says to cut four of the body--that is wrong I believe--should be just two--right?

Hi Martha,
Yes that is a mistake! Cut 2 of the torso. I can't believe no one has ever pointed that out before... We'll work on changing the pdf, it could take us a few days, but we'll get it done. Thank you so much for letting us know.
