Super Easy Baby Blanket - Color Ideas

Putting seven beautiful colors together can be overwhelming, especially if you're shopping online. I hope these suggestions will inspire the perfect combination!

Atlantic Air

This combination is inspired by the colors of New England's coast, natural, serious and subtle. The colors from the top are Pewter, Silver, Platinum, Champagne, Citrine, Amber, and Lulu Brown.

The Cherry Bomb

These colors are syrupy sweet, like a dream cake. The shifting shades of pink, orange, red and brown are cheerful and beautiful. The colors are Kai's Goldfish, Evening Pink, Joshua Tree, Poppy, Evening Pink, Kai's Goldfish, and Poppy.

The Funky Monkey

These colors combine in an unexpected range from rich milk chocolate to bright Caribbean turquoise. Quirky and surprising, this would be a great choice for someone who's a little wary of pink and blue. The colors are Joshua Tree, Gold and Grace, Lantern, Amber, Dragon, Blue Ice and Soft Turquoise.

I just ordered the yarn for the 'Atlantic Air' color scheme 2 days ago and cannot wait to start the project. I love the Purl Bee !

I want to make this cute blanket for my cousin's baby....I love the "Funky Monkey" color scheme, but can't find "Joshua Tree" or "Amber" on Purl's website. Are there any other colors you could suggest as alternatives for these two choices?
Thanks!!

Hi Jessica,
For Amber we suggest "Lantern"
For Joshua Tree, try "Vermillion"

These should have a similar effect, though the vermillion will be more of a pop of red (which will be very pretty!).

Hope you enjoy these!
