Whit's Knits: Super Easy Baby Blanket

Anyone who knows how to cast on, knit and cast off can make this baby blanket. But just because it's easy, doesn't mean this blanket's not wonderful. In fact, it's everything people want a baby blanket to be: machine washable, very soft, all natural, and beautiful.

I love garter stitch for a baby blanket because, besides being the same on both sides and lying flat, it is also very cushiony and cozy. My friend Roy really appreciated the cuddliness of garter stitch this weekend when the weather suddenly turned a bit chilly!

The Super Easy Baby Blanket just got even easier! We're pleased to tell you that together with Gina and Austin at Alchemy Yarns we've created kits in 9 different colorways that you can find right here! Each Kit comes with 7 skeins of Alchemy Temple, a printed, full color pattern, and a Shout Color Catcher to use the first time you wash your blanket, all presented in a lovely sturdy box that makes these kits a great gift in and of themselves!

I think your knitting store must have been talking about the Cuddly Cotton Baby Blanket which uses Farmhouse's I'm Allergic to Wool cotton yarn. Check that pattern out - I think it will make much more sense with the yarn you bought!
Thank you!

It looks like the kit that I am interested in is sold out. Can you tell me what colors you used in the pink/lavender/yellow blanket (first row, second blanket) so I can purchase the yarns separate from the kit?
Thank you!
Stacey
We'll be getting the kits in again very soon, stay tuned!
"Funky Monkey" and "Cherry Bomb" were just color ideas and not actual kits. We do still carry all of the colors of this yarn so if you'd like us to put the colors together for you please give us a call:
