Swatch Portraits - Materials

 

MATERIALS

To make one portrait

• A square of fabric, at least 2" wider than your hoop in all directions.  We used Fabrics from our collection of Liberty of London, Tana Lawn.
• A wooden embroidery hoop in any size
• Elmer's or fabric glue of any type is fine
• Fabric scissors

This is a perfect wall display idea for a sewing room; especially when there are so many beautiful fabrics sitting in my stash.

My mom made one of these for me whe nI was a kid... some lace around the outside, and I used it as an earring board!
