Hand-Me-Down Inspiration Part II

suzy quilt 1.jpgIn August 2006 we featured a very special heirloom quilt called the Robertson Family Quilt. Joelle was so inspired by this beautiful quilt that she set her mind to honoring its beauty by making a similar quilt of her own. It's so nice to see a post about these kinds of quilts. I have a few from my grandmother and her sister that are a little too fragile to be used, so I have them hanging up in my bedroom because they are just so beautiful. I am inspired by them. I have only made one quilt in my life and planned to make others, but I don't cut well and it's hard to piece when your none of your blocks are square. ;)
