Jade Sapphire's 2 Ply Cashmere

jadesapphireportrait.jpg

One of our favorite yarns here at Purl, for employees and customers alike, is Jade Sapphire's elegant 2 Ply 100% Cashmere.  Something wonderful happens when you knit this fine, thread-like yarn; it is transformed into a suprizingly substantial cloud of cashmere fabric that is irresistable to touch, and delicious to wear. Jade Sapphire produces a rainbow of hand-dyed colors in this yarn, as well as their other cashmere yarns, that make us want to create a different project for every day of winter!

Joelle has recently been working on a Lace Cashmere Cowl using this yarn, and shares her pattern with you in her project journal, Cashmere Cowl No. 2 - Lace Rib.
