Selvedge Winter Issue!

The Imperial Issue of our favorite fibers magazine celebrates the textiles of two of the greatest cultural empires in history: Russia and Italy.  From Ottoman porcelain in Moscow palaces to Prada shoes in Marfa, Texas, these far-reaching empires drew artisans from all over the world and synthesized new art forms.

This issue also packs in a history of beds, a discourse on cocktail dresses, and some incredible embroidery, including this regal pup by Karen Nicols. The sun never sets on the Selvedge Empire!
