Purl Rabbit Raglan Sweater
Brrr! It's cold here at Purl, but Rabbit is bundled up in a warm merino cardigan. This cozy Koigu sweater is a miniature copy of a classic raglan cardigan; great practice for human-sized sweaters, only more cute!
If you are interested in the quilt that serves as a backdrop for Purl Rabbit, you can find the Bento Box Quilt Pattern at purlsoho.com.

This pattern starts with the sleeves to minimize loose ends to sew in later.

GAUGE
6.5 stitches = 1 inch
SLEEVES (MAKE TWO)
Cast on 20 stitches, leaving a tail of yarn about 8 inches long to use for sewing up sleeve and underarms when you are done.
Knit 6 rows (this will create 3 garter stitch ridges).
Row 7: Knit.
Row 8: Purl.
Repeat rows 7 and 8 until sleeve measures 4 inches from cast on edge. Purl Rabbit has extra long arms, so if the doll you're knitting for has arms that are a different length, measure from the doll's wrist to his or her underarm to get the proper measurement for your sleeve.
Bind off 3 stitches at the beginning of the next two rows.
Place 14 remaining stitches on a stitch holder; set aside.
Repeat for second sleeve. Set aside.
