Chinese New Year Good Luck Bags

Follow along with our Good Luck Gift Bag Project Journal and our new Embroidery Stitch Tutorial!

This fun embroidery project makes a great Valentines' Day gift for your best buddies, or a small token of good luck in celebration of Chinese New Year. Fill the bags with favorite candy, incense, lucky coins (maybe chocolate ones!), or a special greeting.

Chinese New Year falls on a different date each year, between January 21 and February 20.  This year, the festivities begin on February 18. This important holiday lasts for 15 days, during which time families get together, commemorate the past year, and prepare for a prosperous and joyful new year.
