Every yarn in The Fibre Company's collection incorporates natural fibers and low-impact dyes, or dyes which are less caustic than common industrial dyes. They seek out organic products in every aspect of their business, from the sheep to the shipping.  Their innovative combinations of plant and animal fibers result in gorgeous stitches and unexpected textures. 

SAVANNAH 

Savannah Bulky, is a show-stopping blend of merino wool, organic cotton, linen and soy. The result is a luxurious, plump 2-ply strand that is a pleasure to knit. You can clearly identify the smooth soy and linen fibers that softly mediate the warm wool and dense cotton.

Savannah is also available as Savannah DK, a lighter weight yarn which knits up at approximately 6 stitches per inch on US size 5 - 6 needles (the yellow ball shown at top and above, left).  While the bulkier yarn is suited to fast-knitting scarves and hats, Savannah DK calls for more refined outerwear, like a pair of Greenaway Fingerless Gloves!

ORGANIK 

Aptly named Organik features baby alpaca, silk, and 100% organic New Zealand wool.  The richly textured single-ply strand create a dense knitted fabric with a halo of warm, lofty fibers. This mid-weight yarn has homespun elegance ideal for special sweaters like The Fibre Company's Surprise Cardigan.
