Project Spectrum

yellow.green.photo.jpg
Last week Lolly added this comment after reading Thinking in Color:

There is a popular create-along called Project Spectrum that explores color in crafting and art. It is amazing to see what some of the participants come up with - it is in its second incarnation now with color "triads" where the crafter can explore the three colors together or each separately. Very inspiring projects!

We are big fans of Project Spectrum, now in it's second year and going gangbusters. It is an amazing collection of all kinds of knitting, sewing, and other crafts that focus on a particular group of colors for two months at a time.  If you've never visited the Project Spectrum Flickr Group, take a look and add your crafts and photographs to the mix!  This month's colors are green, yellow, and pink (our entry, above, pictures spring green and yellow embroidery thread).

Thanks so much, Lolly, for creating this amazing group!
