Addi Turbo Lace Needles
Skacel's Addi Turbo circular needles have been a longtime favorite of knitters for their lightening-fast smooth texture and superior construction. Their new product, Addi Lace Needles, are designed specifically for knitting lace.

I use Addi Turbo needles for just about every project, so I was excited to hear that they had developed new needles especially for lace. The lace needles differ from their original aluminium needles in that they have longer, more pointed tips, a raspberry colored cord, and a brass tip instead of aluminium.
The longer, more pointed tip of the needles enable you to easily work lace stitches, whether you need to knit into the back of a yarn over, work a left slanting decrease or purl into the back of a stitch. I really enjoyed the smooth surface of these needles; it made the stitches glide easily and kept my hands from feeling cramped or tense. The flexibility of the cord and the long length of the needle tips also gave my knitting added movement. I didn't have to constantly readjust my fingers to inch my stitches along.
I highly recommend these needles. In fact, I would even recommend these brass-tip needles for knitting other things besides lace since they come in size 1 (2.5 mm) all the way up to size 6 (4 mm). I look forward to using them for my next Koigu sweater in the round!

Thank you so much for your wonderful site. Over the last 2 days I have read through all the archives and bookmarked many of the project journals. Not that I can ever do them all, but as sources of inspiration and help. Your site performs a great service, with all of its helpful information,tutorials, and journals, and directions to beautiful fabrics and fibers. Your work is inspirational in itself, but best of all is the joy you communicate in doing it and writing about it!
