Introducing Beautiful Hand-Dyed Felted Wools from Mary Flanagan

wool-stack.jpg

We are thrilled to introduce our Hand Dyed Felted Wool Bundles from Mary Flanagan!  Each bundle includes six 16" x 4" rectangles of felted wool, each a different gorgeous hand dyed color. Because it has been felted, there is no need to finish the edges, which makes it a great choice for applique, doll clothes and other embellishments.

The colorways pictured above from left to right are:

Corals, Party Mix, Pumpkins, Wheat Field, Autumn Mix, Aquas, Vintage, Blues and Primitive Spring.

We made the pincushion above with two differently colored squares from the "Corals" Bundle and a strand of Pearl Cotton Thread in "Lemonade".  Simply cut two 4" squares in the colors of your choice, blanket stitch the edges, leave a 2" opening along one side, do not break thread.  Fill with your choice of stuffingBlanket stitch remaining opening closed.  Take an extra stitch through the center of the pincushion to make it nice and firm. Lovely!
