Molly's Sketchbook: Two Sided Felt Snowflakes

Growing up I always wished that it would snow on Christmas. Even though I lived Berkeley California I somehow convinced myself every year that there was a chance I would wake up on Christmas moring and the lemon trees, redwoods, and palms would be covered in a thick blanket of white. Alas I was always dissapointed and it was usually in the sixties for the big day (but some lucky years it would rain!). So to give myself that white (and pink!) Christmas I always dreamed of I made these snowflakes.

Each snowflake has two distinct sides, one side white felt with pink stitching, the other pink felt with white stitching. Despite this neat trick they are simple quick and fun to sew. Please visit my Two Sided Felt Snowflake Project Journal if you'd like to make your very own little blizzard!  --Molly

The pink and white theme is so adorable and festive! These would look great on my tree and hanging in the windows.
