Whit's Knits: Mood Pillow

I wanted to make a pillow that didn't force me into a design corner. I like to keep the look of my apartment fluid and eclectic, so a two-sided pillow makes a lot of sense to me.
I picked yarns that would reflect two totally different moods. Ozark Handspun, which is a mohair and wool blend, is wild and unpredictable, so raw that little bright curls of goat hair pop out of the finished knitting. No two skeins are alike so it's a real adventure to knit with Ozarks. The Sheep Shop Yarn Company's Sheep Number Two is a beautiful, subtly dyed, machine spun wool with an even, clean finish. It's a classic.
