I've never been much of a scarf knitter. Actually, I can't remember ever having made myself a scarf! But last month I started to feel a real need for a lovely, spring scarf. I pestered my co-workers at Purl for several weeks, presenting different yarn combinations and wondering about stitch patterns. Everyone weighed in, whether they wanted to or not, and, after a few false starts, all the elements fell into place.
What a surprise! I totally LOVED making this scarf! Working with the Lacey Lamb and Silken Straw was such a treat. They are each so beautiful on their own, and together they are total luxury. The stitch pattern was the perfect balance of interesting and easy, exciting to watch the stitch pattern evolve, but not hurt-my-head complicated.
Wow! After many years of knitting, scarves could be my new joy!

Any ideas?
Thanks for a pretty pattern :-)
I would recommend knitting the two ends separately and grafting the scarf in the middle using kitchener stitch. If you need a little guidance doing kitchener stitch, check out this tutorial:
