Our very first line of fabric, Cake Rock Beach, has arrived!  We first told you about our collection in October 2007, so we're very happy to finally make it available to you!  Above is the "Earth" palette. Cake Rock Beach also has four other palettes, Leaf, Water, Fire and Coral which you can see below.

So lovely! I just opened a box containing some of these. They are just GORGEOUS in person! I love the colorwheel quilt using Cake Rock Beach. Any plans to offer a kit of that?

It must be so amazing to complete a project with your very own fabric. It is beautiful--I love the warm colorways.

beautiful! It makes me want to learn how to sew and then cover my entire apartment with it. :) I read your blog regularly and I just love it. Thanks for the great projects!

Yipee! Imagine my surprise when I popped into my local village (we have a whopping 1200 people) fabric shop and found the entire Cake Rock Beach Collection! It is so gorgeous in person, it's depth gets a little lost in photos.

Beautiful! Just two questions: can I buy the fabric in any regular store or only in Purl? and will you sell something like fat quarters or bundles?

Hi Diana,
You can buy the collection at any number of quilt shops. We also just added fat quarter bundles of the whole collection to our online shop, just check this link:

I am so disappointed I didn't even notice these when I was there this weekend! :( Drove all the way from NH, snagged Liberty and Lecien and completely missed these lovelies! I will be ordering them soon...

I am completely smitten with your new line - YUM. I would really like to make a quilt using all the fabrics from the Water palette, but it looks like you have already sold out of the "flora" fabric in that palette - will you be restocking it soon?

Hey! I really like the earth tone patterns! They are very relaxing!
