Molly's Sketchbook: Monogrammed Cuff Links for Father's Day
Dads, and men in general, are hard to make things for. Many craft projects are on the pink and frilly side. I was wondering what to make my own dad for Father's Day when the idea for these simple little cuff links came to me. They struck me as a good venue to get crafty without getting too fussy.
My own dad would much rather be salmon fishing than attending a fancy party but I like the idea that when he does have occasion to get dressed up he can wear these unique homeade cufflinks.
As I was making them the thought also struck me that they would be great to make for a wedding. They are so simple and quick to make that you could do them for the whole groom's party in a day. If you'd like to make a pair for your dad, or groom, or usher, or even yourself, you can follow along with my Monogrammed Cuff Links Project Journal.
Happy Father's Day! --Molly

Thanks!
Thanks for the snazzy links. I promise that I won't wear them fishing. I'll wear them with a French blue shirt and a white necktie.
