Whit's Knits: Cuddly Cotton Baby Blanket

Babies are probably Purl's most demanding customers. "Give me soft and machine washable and hypo-allergenic and fast to knit because I'm on my way! " A tall order perfectly filled by Farmhouse Yarns' I Am Allergic to Wool, a beautifully hand-dyed, hand-spun, bulky cotton with a rayon binder. A rare combination of characteristics that uniquely answers a baby's specifications!
I love how the hand-dyed colors ripple through this blanket, like reflections on a lake. Even more, I love the weight and bulk and total cushiness of this thing. Even though it's made of cotton, it's definitely cozy enough for cooler weather. It's going to make some baby very happy!
