Handmade Christmas Projects on The Purl Bee, There's Still Enough Time to Make Them!

We got an early start on Christmas projects for you this year so thought that we should remind you of some of the great ideas that we've shared so far. There is still enough time to make a few of them in time for this year's festivities.

You can find Molly's beautiful Simple Embroidered Stockings pattern, pictured above, here.

This adorable knit stocking was created by Mary Lou Risely, a long time teacher at our shop Purl in New York, you can find the pattern for Mary Lou's Holiday Stocking here.

Jen made this adorable snowman family from a pattern called The SnoBuddy Family created by Knitting at KNoon.  You can read about them here, and find the pattern she used to create them here.

Molly's Strip Pieced Christmas stocking was a big hit when we posted it back in October, you can find the pattern and how-to photos here.

Whitney's Felted Christmas Trees pattern help you create a sweet, soft heirloom, you can find the pattern here.

Sharilyn from Lovely Design shared her adorable Little Forest Quilt pattern last week.  You can read more about Sharilyn here, and find her sweet pattern here.

Still scratching your head about what to make this year?  Don't forget about these great handmade holiday projects from The Purl Bee last year:

Molly's Two Sided Felt Snowflakes can be found here.

Whitney's knitted Holiday Bird Ornaments can be found here.

Page's Super Easy Snowflake Stocking can be found here.

And Molly's Simple Sewn Bird Ornaments can be found here.

Happy Making! --The Purl Bee

so sweet i love them all! but have about 1, 2, 3, 4 projects to finish before Christmas. 3 of which I can't do when little eyes are up! Once I finish the socks the rest should be a breeze! Happy crafting.

Thank you for this post. I'm a new reader, and have just begun hand embroidery. It's so addicting.

I'm anxious to try a few of these projects. =) Thanks again.

I love the stockings. They're always so fun to make and stuff with little goodies! If anyone would like to see the mini stocking ornaments I've been working on, please visit thehoneypietree.com

I think I'm going to try my hand at Molly's Stripped Piece Christmas Stocking for a bigger project.

I didn't get a chance to do these projects when they were posted last year, but made a point of starting early on them this year . . . I love how they came out, take a look!
