The BIG Move: Customer Appreciation Party and Online Raffle Details!
Saturday April 24, 2010 was our Customer Appreciation Party, in celebration of our BIG move, and we had the best time. Thank you so much to everyone who made it out! We were reminded yet again that we have the most creative, and fun customers in the world. You guys made the party such a success!

By 11:45 there was already a group outside our door waiting patiently for us to open. It was so exciting to see these lovely ladies as we put the finishing touches on the store. We went out and delivered our goodie bags to these early birds to show our appreciation!

When we opened we were absolutely thrilled to see how many people came to visit us!

We had pink lemonade and a rainbow of macaroons, which made it really feel like a party!

Some of our favorite parts of the day were the raffles. We had a raffle drawing every hour and each time we gave away over fifteen prizes. Purlsoho's Jeremy called all of the winners every hour and hearing people get excited as they won was really fun. All of the prizes were so inspiring, from cashmere scarf kits from Jade Sapphire, to bundles of Liberty of London fabric, and we are looking forward to seeing all of the cool projects that get made from them! A huge thank you to all the vendors who donated raffle items.
We really enjoyed meeting all of you and spending the day together. It was just lovely to see so many friendly faces, meet your families, and see your beautiful projects, you guys constantly inspire us! Thank you so much to those of you who came to the party and also to those of you who were there in spirit!
And speaking of those people who couldn't make it to the party, our online raffle was also a smashing success! Here is a list of who won what:

Rosario Benavides of Rye, New York won the Liberty Fat Quarter Bundle.

Marie Litwinowica of Paris, France won the Manly Scarf Kit

Carrie McDougall of Fitzroy North, Australia won the Wool Felt Bundles
Jennifer Beeman of Chicago Illinois won the Gregarious Grosbeaks Charley Harper Needlepoint Canvas. You can check out her cute blog here.
Thank you to everyone who participated, we wish we could send a prize to each and evey one of you! The four lucky winners were so gracious and excited (and so international!) We can't wait to see what they make with their prizes. --The Purl Bee
