Easy Pullover for Babies, Toddlers and Kids

Back by popular demand and in three new sizes, the Easy Baby Pullover is no longer just for Baby! We have rewritten (and renamed) the pattern to include sizes for ages 2, 4 and 6. We introduce to you the new and improved Easy Pullover for Babies, Toddlers and Kids!
This sweater was the prototype for the Easy Baby Cardigan in Joelle's book, More Last Minute Gifts. Knit in one piece, the simplicity of the over-the-top construction made this pattern a quick classic around the shop. For the full pattern, just visit our Project Journal right here! Enjoy!

I am a huge fan of your patterns and this one will be on the needles as soon as I'm done with the Grecian Rib Scarf! Thanks for the bigger sizes.

Great sweater. Looks easy to slip over little heads. Wish I had a pattern like that when my kids were little.

Thank you so, so much for the additional sizes for this guy. I wanted to give this a go, but lacked the experienced required to resize the pattern myself. I will be starting this immediately (after I finish my own deep v neck sweater, of course).

I second the call for an adult size in this! That would be super awesome. :)

I am thinking about doing this in Swan Island fingering. Do you think that substitution will work? I love the indigo color.

This is a lovely sweater! We have a new granddaughter and I would love to make this for her. What weight is this yarn? Fingering? Thank you so much!

Hi Maureen and Karen-

This yarn is indeed a fingering weight. The Swans Island would work but it is slightly thinner so you would want to make sure to do a gauge beforehand.

Our entire selection of fingering weight yarn can be found here:

Thank you!

To those asking about adult sizes-

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm about this pattern. We do plan to add adult sizes as soon as we can. However, it does take time so we don't have an ETA at them moment.

Thanks again for your nice comments!

You all are killin' me here. I've vowed not to have any more kids, but if you keep coming up with such adorable designs I'll have no choice but to keep make babies to put them on.
