Easy Pullover for Babies, Toddlers + Kids. Now in Three New Sizes!

Happy New Year! While we welcome 2014, we can't help but consider what a big year 2013 was for us! Let's review...We were thrilled to launch three gorgeous new Purl Soho yarns: Alpaca Pure, Line Weight and Worsted Twist. We developed a collection of beautifully packaged, super inspiring Purl Soho Kits. We also began to assemble the materials for our Purl Bee projects into one-click-away, no-fuss kits. We welcomed the impeccable, inspiring and ultra-creative Corinne to the Purl Bee team, and we began building a library of clear and concise instructional knitting videos for you. Not to mention the dozens of free knitting, sewing, crocheting, weaving and embroidery patterns we shared right here on the Purl Bee!

As our team pow-wows on making this upcoming year as exciting as the last, we usher in the New Year with a new and improved Purl Bee favorite: the Easy Pullover to Babies Toddlers and Kids. Originally sized for ages 12 month to 4 year olds, due to popular demand, this pattern is now for kids up to the age of 12! For the full, revised pattern and to read about how Joelle, one of our fearless leaders, conceived of this simple one-piece wonder, click right here.

And finally, a huge thank you to you for your ongoing readership and invaluable input over this past year. Your support, questions and suggestions are better than gold! We look forward to spending a very exciting 2014 with you!

How adorable! Looks like it wouldn't take too long to make up, either.

I love this little sweater! Is is possible to have it done up for adults? If you could do that, it would be really great! Thanks so much, Lorie

HI Lorene-

We don't have plans to size this up right now but we will keep it in mind for the future. Thank you!

Thank YOU for all of your patterns, instuctions and beautiful yarns. Even living in another state, I shop mostly at your store either on-line or with a couple of trips to NYC each year primarily to shop there in person. I've made several of your knitting patterns and have all of Joelle's books. In 2012, you also inspired me to take out my sewing machine and dust it off ... I'm beginning to work my way through some of your sewing projects now. I've been knitting for 40 years, since my grandmother taught me at age 7, and I can honestly say that your staff, tutorials and patterns with such complete instruction cannot be compared to anywhere ... and I've had the good fortune to travel the world and visit many, many yarn stores. You are the best. Thank you for making crafting the best it can possibly be and for having such a talented, creative staff who never dissapoint .

I love this cute sweater....I'd ADORE making an adult version. Can you offer this as an adult pattern or guide me to a simple one?
thank you!

Hi Mary Beth-

We don't have plans to make this into an adult pattern at the moment. You might try looking on Ravelry for something similar by searching for a "tunic" style sweater.

Our Cap Sleeve Lattice Sweater is constructed in a similar way, although it ends up looking very different. You can check that out here:
Thank you!
