This little necklace ring set was created to celebrate Mother's Day, but I hope it inspires giving on other days of the year too! The pouch is designed to house the ring when it's not making a splash on someone's finger. Lots of other things could live in the locket, too, small photos, pieces of sea glass, lucky pennies, or maybe some tic tacs...

It's a really fun project to make, but it's on a smaller scale than most knitting and crocheting projects, so have on hand good light, time, and serenity. The care you put into it will show! --Whitney
