The Snowflake Eyelet (same book , page 248) caught my eye. I felt like it had enough stockinette to give the colors space to settle, and plus I love eyelets. --Whitney

When we have a stitch pattern we love and no sweater pattern to go with it, there's one person we turn to: Ann Budd. Her two books, The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns, and The Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, are excellent resources for all kinds of garments. You can find them on our website: http://www.purlsoho.com/purl/products/booklist/author,6
