Ta Da!

whitneyvest.jpgAnd, finally, I blocked my vest, which made a big difference. The lace pattern really relaxed and the whole thing ended up fitting me pretty well I think. I really love wearing this thing - I like how it’s kind of funky and prissy at the same time. The only problem is that now I only want to make lace Koigu vests. Maybe that’s not such a big problem...--Whitney

Whitney,
the vest is lovely. How many skeins of the Koigu did you use? Might be a chance to use my stash of grey green blue Koigu....
happy new year, Petra

The vest came out great. I love the colors, and it looks very good on you, too. Congratulations.

ohh, I feel faint with envy. I LOVE the way it looks, just as you so aptly put it: "funky and prissy". I too would love to know how many skeins it took.

So, cute! I've bought the wool to try this idea out! 176 stiches for one side? Or 176 all around? It seems like 176 is not enough to go around, but you didn't mention otherwise. Could you clarify? Thanks a million for the great idea!

About how many skeins of Koigu did this take? I would love to give it a whirl. Thanks!

Wonder if it's possible to write a little more precise pattern for this rather than the general instructions for those of us who need express directions. Much appreciated - love everything you do !!!!!

stunning and daring, and suits you so well - reminds me of the colours of this blog... is yellow your favourite colour? :) one thing's for sure, this vest's bound to lighten up some grey autumn days to come...
